Villa America is situated 15 km from Tenerife South airport and 80 km from Tenerife North airport. Although in Tenerife you can use the local bus services and taxis, hiring a car is highly recommended due to the large distances on the island.

Beaches and excursions:

Only 15 km away you will find the crystal clear waters of Playa El Médano and La Tejita, where there are many good fish restaurants.

Heading along the west coast of the island some 20 km, you will reach Puerto Santiago. Here, in Playa de la Arena, you can enjoy a day at the beach with spectacular black volcanic sand.

Mount Teide and the National Park can be reached after a 50-minute drive. At the foot of the mountain lies the Parador Nacional, where you can try a typical Canarian meal or have tea whilst taking in the incredible view of Spain’s highest mountain.

Not far from here, the Teide cableway will take you to the peak and the crater, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean and – on clear days – of all the islands.

From the port of Los Cristianos you can take the ferry to visit the spectacular island of La Gomera.
